Without me, my kit is nothing. Without my kit, I am...well, not exactly nothing.Size: Like others have mentioned, calling this "Extra Large" may not have been a great call on Voodoo's part. For this style of bag, it is a larger version than normal, but it's no duffel bag. The dimensions are listed in the product description and they're right. The overall length is just 15" but for the purpose of a med kit (that's meant to be portable and added to an existing kit), I can't imagine wanting it to be larger.MOLLE/PALS: This is the only point where I've found this pack falling short. The great thing about the MOLLE system is that it's a universal interface. Straps weave in and out of webbing spaced 1 inch apart. Genius. But as you can see in my photos, I had a mag pouch mounted on one side holding my tourniquet - which I've since upgraded to an actual TQ pouch. The single row of thick and thin webbing on the front and sides of this bag make weaving impossible and thus a secure bond isn't possible. In the end, you get a floppy pouch on the side...but it is technically mounted and won't likely fall off. The rear of the bag is better but not perfect. There are 5 (yes 5) straps to weave into the PALS on your pack/vest/belt and they work like MOLLE usually does. But there's a little too much strap at the top and this makes the bag "droop" away from whatever it's mounted to, especially when you add more weight. It's secure but not tight. Fortunately, I run mine as a standalone so that's not an issue for me, but something you might want to consider.Color: I went with red. Like I've said, this is a trauma kit for me. I added some photos which I color corrected to look as close s possible as it does in person with the naked eye. Nylon never photographs well.Capacity: WOW. It really does hold a lot more than I thought it would. This is perfect in the role of a first responder's bag.Contents: So you're shopping online for some molle gear and reading a review. You're my kind of people. That said, you might be curious as to what I keep in it. Well, fellow "gear enthusiast," your wait is over:Exterior - 1 of
