...what I liked the most was the fact that whatever style of rifle, size or shape, it was always easy to find just what I needed! An excellently well made and durable case. Awesome padding. Straps are conveniently placed and the webbing material is sturdy. Measure carefully. The rifle I bought it for is 34 7/8 long. Very snug fit. No stress on zipper. But the butt is on it. Zips shut with magazines in all pouches and a 3x target scope on it. The rifle has a strap on it also. Very impressed. Better like tight though. This is the 5th, higher-end Bulldog brand case I have purchased and I continue to be amazed at the quality of their products for such low cost. The amount of protection from the thick padding, soft interior lining, and overall excellent build quality is a steal. Their products are unfortunately not made in the USA (China) but between their Design/Material specifications and the Facility that does the actual manufacturing, they are doing it right!I needed a tall case to fit my new Benjamin SynRod .25 PCP air rifle with BSA 4-14x44 FFP MRAD Scope. I have one of their 52" Extreme Scoped Rifle cases for another rifle but the SynRod with scope and Medium Height rings was just too tall as that case was only 9 inches in exterior height.Called Bulldog and explained what my situation was and they took the time to measure a couple of their other model cases and called me back promptly. Turned out their BD430 Extreme Tactical Rifle Case was perfect despite it being designed primarily for AR-style Tactical Rifle use. My SynRod is 43 inches long and the BD430 has 45 inches of interior length. The heighth is 12 inches on the exterior which allows my scoped rifle to easily fit inside.I purchased this case for my modified Remington 700 SPS rifle. This case is well made, providing good padded protection for my rifle.I bought the case in August and as I write this in early October, I have found the zipper is separating at one end of the case. Normally I would contact Amazon about the problem, however now that the date for return has past, I contacted Bulldog direct. Their customer service gal was very helpful and worked with me on a replacement. It turns out this BD420 having an internal OAL of 43-inches, is too snug for my rifle. The better choice is Bulldog’s BD430, which is 46-inches inside length. Bulldog is sending me the longer replacement at no charge.I suspect Amazon would have handled replacement to my satisfaction, however due to timing I had to contact Bulldog direct. If you are considering a good quality soft rifle case at a fair price, I recommend Bulldog, not only for the value but Bulldog’s excellent customer service; and should you have questions about a rifle case prior to buying one, contacting Bulldog’s customer service will be a positive experience.I ordered the 40" case and it has an actual outside overall length of 38 inches. The inside length is 36 inches, so the practical maximum rifle length that will fit is about 35 inches for a rifle with a scope and pistol grip attached. I was trying to fit a 38 inch overall length LR-10 style rifle and it will not fit. Fortunately, I have another rifle of AR-15 pattern with an overall length of about 32 inches, so I can still use the case. The actual dimensions should have been accurately specified in the description, there is no excuse for the omission or the inaccurate sizing. The actual lengths for the other case sizes should be added to the listing. The case is nice, but the lining is not as nice as my other Bulldog cases; it is not fuzzy, and does not seem super durable. The zipper is heavy duty and comes with a ring at the closed end so the zipper can be locked if that's what you're into. The magazine pouches are big enough to hold two AR magazines in each pocket, and tall enough to hold a 30rd AK mag. The case itself is plenty big enough for a 12in AR with either an optic or a magazine loaded, but it's not tall enough for both. The carry handles and shoulder strap are both decent quality. The pocket it nice for thin stuff and small tools but it's not a super functional pocket because it's too tight when the case is full.Too small for scoped bullpup pcp.Bulldog is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. I also own one of their range bags and dollar for dollar Bulldog is the best value out there. I purchased the 48" case for my AR with a 4x12 scope and bipod and it easily fit. The added side pockets for magazines easily accommodate a standard 30 round magazines. The zippered side pocket is a nice touch but don't expect to put a lot in there. Small random tools and accessories, car keys, and other small/moderate sized items shouldn't be a problem. The tags on the case states it is water resistant and it floats but I'm not willing to test that. It is heavily padded so I have no concerns about damaging the optics when transporting. Sure, there are a cheaper cases out there, but nothing even close the quality of the Bulldog case. Don't think you can go wrong with this purchase.-I purchased one from warehouse deals, too bad had to return it because the main zipper was crunched. As same with side pocket, only unzipshalf way. Other than that, has nice thick foam padding i say at least 7/8 '', good handles, way better than my friends Allen brand one. Almost the same quality as NC Star Vism one.Este producto es excelente en el tamaño, resguardo preciso y materiales de alta duración por lo que ofrece protección óptima.Solo le agregaría algunas cintas de manera interna para mantener el equipo centrado en el estuche.Great quality product for the price. So great, I now have 4 of them.A well made case with plenty of room for a scope.Perfect! Optimal size and good quality, recommended
